This is truly a special bottling from Fidélitas taking Charlie’s decades long passion for Washington Merlot and working with the oldest Merlot vines on Red Mountain planted in 1975. As Charlie describes this wine “this is a beautiful example of what makes Washington Merlot unique and one of the best places in the world to grow this varietal.” On the aroma we loads of dark fruit—black cherry, blueberry, wet rocks, and baking spices. The palate is rich and balanced with great new oak integration—strawberry, vanilla bean, raspberry. Drink now with a good 45 minute decant or through 2035.
