This classic right-bank Bordeaux style blend showcases all the different varietals we source from the world class Ciel du Cheval Vineyard. We go with a Merlot dominant blend here since the Merlot from that vineyard is excellent quality and pushes the wine towards a more elegant style which is how the CDC wines tend to be when compared to the rest of our lineup. On the aroma we get baking spices, black currant, and strawberry. The wine hits all different parts of the palate with loads of complexity—Bing cherry, wet rocks, blackberry, and vanilla bean. This is a complex versatile food pairing wine or perfectly enjoyable on its own. Drink now through 2035.
