Heart of the Hill vineyard Cabernet is a wonderful balance of Old-World elegance and Red Mountain fruit and structure. Although sourced from a single block of Cabernet right in the middle of Red Mountain this wine offers tons of complexity and depth. Similar to the Malbec from this growing  site, the aroma is the star of the show — take a few minutes to take it in before your first sip — vanilla bean, black currant, and plum. The palate is rich but well balanced with fresh acidity and polished tannins — fig, white pepper, and strawberry. Pairs well with all sorts of cuisine all though we prefer to drink this one on its own. Drink now through 2040.
